Line-ups: Madrid-Villarreal

Real Madrid ring the changes for tonight’s La Liga visit of Villarreal as BBC are all in attendance but Luka Modric misses out.

Zinedine Zidane’s six alterations start in defence, where Danilo comes in for Dani Carvajal at right-back and the injured Pepe is replaced by Raphael Varane.

In midfield, a calf knock sees Casemiro make way for Toni Kroos, Luka Modric is rested for Mateo Kovacic and James Rodriguez impressed enough at Espanyol to keep his place.

Last but certainly not least, Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale are back from their respective weekends-off to flank Karim Benzema.

Villarreal, meanwhile, recall Jose Angel at left-back, bring in Samu Castillejo and Jonathan dos Santos to provide the width and drop Alexandre Pato for former Blanco Denis Cheryshev up top.
