Malaga coach Juande Ramos is desperate for his side to get their first win of the season but admits Eibar will be no easy opponent.
Los Boquerenos are winless so far this campaign and have only two points from their opening four games, but Ramos has stated that Eibar's stubborness is well-known and this will make it a difficult game for his side.
"Our recent losses are concerning and everybody wants to start winning," he told reporters ahead of the game.
"Eibar are a solid and difficult opponent who's strengths and characteristics are well known.
"They are in a good run of form with four points from two games and that has brought them steadiness and tranquility, which is what we hope to achieve with a win.
"Playing soon after a defeat (Malaga lost 1-0 to Las Palmas on Saturday) is beneficial as it gives you the option to recover courage and our fans will be supporting as usual."
