Espanyol boss Quique Sanchez Flores has said that a win for Espanyol at Real Sociedad tonight would 'ease the tension' after a slow start.
"We are very excited to get our first victory, it would certainly help ease some early tension," said Sanchez Flores ahead of the tie.
"We want to go there with a strong match plan and achieve the right result.
"This is a new project but the players are also responsible and I believe the results will improve soon."
Espanyol have so far picked up just one point from their opening two games, losing 6-4 at Sevilla before being held to a 2-2 draw by Malaga.
