Neymar's agent Wagner Ribeiro has claimed that PSG offered Barcelona €190m for the striker and €770,000 per week.
Ribeiro told ESPN Brasil that the forward was 'close' to leaving the Catalans this summer with both PSG and Manchester United interested, before extending his current deal at Camp Nou.
"He was close to joining PSG, where he would have earned €40m a year net," explained the agent.
"Neymar was also close to Manchester United but he extended his stay, for less money, at Barcelona because that's where he wants to play."
The French champions lost star striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic this summer, while Neymar's new Barca deal now runs to 2021 with a €200m buyout clause which will rise after the first year to €222m and to €250m by 2019.
