Celta Vigo have confirmed the signing of Fiorentina’s Giuseppe Rossi on a season-long loan deal.
The 29-year-old has been plagued with injuries in recent years but will temporarily move to Baliados after passing a medical.
The Galicia side took to their official Twitter account on Monday to break the news that the Italy international, who began his senior career with Manchester United, has joined the club.
“Giuseppe Rossi is now a Celta player. Welcome,” the tweet reads.
Celta are also rumoured to be close to sealing a move for Red Star Belgrade’s Aleksandar Katai.
