Munir ‘accepts Celta loan’

Munir El Haddadi reportedly accepts a loan to Celta Vigo, considered a sign Barcelona are about to get Paco Alcacer from Valencia.

Mundo Deportivo cite COPE Vigo as reporting the arrival of the Spain international at Balaidos, but add that the transfer is subject to Barca getting the striker they have been looking for throughout the summer.

Alcacer is said to have asked Valencia to be allowed to leave and join Barca and once that operation is closed, Munir’s move to Celta will be confirmed.

MD note that a number of clubs have approached Barca for Munir but the feeling is that Celta will be good for the 20-year-old’s development after Rafinha’s successful time at the club.

Valencia has also been touted as an option for Munir, as has Sporting Gijon, but Munir favours Celta, though if Alcacer to Camp Nou collapses then Munir’s move will fall apart in kind.
