Marcelo’s Brazil exile is over after new boss Tite named the Real Madrid defender in his first squad on Monday.
Marcelo had not featured for Brazil since October 2015 and did not see eye to eye with former Coach Dunga, but Tite has wasted no time in reinstating the left-back for 2018 World Cup qualifiers against Ecuador and Colombia at the beginning of September.
Other Spanish-based players in the squad include Marcelo’s clubmate Casemiro, Barcelona star Neymar and Atletico Madrid’s Filipe Luis.
