Zidane: Cesc? It’s complicated…

Zinedine Zidane believes a possible Cesc Fabregas move to Real Madrid would be ‘complicated’ given his options in midfield.

The Chelsea man has been linked with Santiago Bernabeu and his name was sung as Los Blancos beat Reims in Tuesday night’s Trofeo Bernabeu, but when questioned about the ex-Barcelona playmaker, Zizou suggested the transfer was unlikely.

“Man, if you want to put another midfielder in it’s going to be complicated. Not by Cesc, because he is a great player, but it’s complicated. I have a squad were three or four [players] aren’t going to be called. It’s complicated,” the Coach replied, AS reports.

“We’ll wait until August 31 but I don’t think anyone is going to come. The squad is complete but anything can happen. I’m happy with this squad, with the players who will be with us. I don’t know if I can convince you, but it’s fine.

“The least money spent in 15 years? That’s fine, sometimes it’s not necessary. Whatever happens, in a year I’m going to say the same thing to you. I’m happy with the squad, the players I have and we won the European Cup with these players.

“The only thing that worries me, what I want, is to continue working hard because we won’t achieve anything by being Madrid. We’re going to have to work and that’s all I want from my players.”
