Barcelona are set to make a move for Valencia goalkeeper Diego Alves to replace Manchester City-bound Claudio Bravo.

According to Catalunya Radio, Alves could be included as part of the deal the Blaugrana are attempting to put together for striker Paco Alcacer, with Munir El Haddadi and Sergi Samper going the other way to Mestalla and Barca maintaining a buy-back clause on both players.

Alves, 31, is valued at around €10m by Los Che and would arrive as back-up for Marc-Andre ter Stegen, with a deal hopefully in place before Barcelona take on Real Betis at the Camp Nou this Saturday.

Even so, both Atletico Madrid and Sevilla are also interested in Alves as they seek look to cover the losses of the injured Miguel Moya and David Soria, although the Brazilian would prefer a move to Barcelona, even if it is only as a No 2.
