Line-ups: Sevilla-Barca

Jeremy Mathieu and Arda Turan are Barcelona’s only squad players in their first competitive match of 2016-17 – the Supercopa first leg against Sevilla.

Mathieu is preferred to new boy Lucas Digne in the absence of left-back Jordi Alba, while Arda beats off competition from Munir El Haddadi for the left wing, currently vacant due to Neymar’s Olympic commitments.

Other than that, Claudio Bravo capitalises on Marc-Andre ter Stegen’s injury for a rare cup appearance between the sticks.

Sevilla, meanwhile, make four changes from the side that lost 3-2 to Real Madrid in the European Super Cup earlier in the week, with new boys Gabriel Mercado and Matias Kranevitter among those drafted in by Jorge Sampaoli.

Sevilla: Rico; Mariano, Mercado, Rami, Escudero; Kranevitter, N'Zonzi; Vitolo, Vazquez, Kiyotake; Vietto

Barcelona: Bravo; Sergi, Pique, Mascherano, Mathieu; Busquets, Rakitic, Iniesta; Messi, Suarez, Arda
