Fernando Llorente is on the verge of leaving Sevilla for Premier League Swansea City, signing a two-year contract.
AS reports the striker is in Wales for a medical and will put pen-to-paper on the deal, which includes an option for a third year, after it was decided his future lay away from Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan.
It’s noted that former Juventus, Athletic Bilbao and Spain striker Llorente had offers from Portugal, Germany and Spain – and he was said to be close to Real Sociedad – but felt his style of play was better suited to English football.
