Real Madrid still want David Alaba and Bayern Munich have responded to a €65m bid by asking for Pepe to be added to the proposal.
AS reports the Germans value Alaba at €80m but Madrid haven’t reached that amount with an offer, and Bayern have thus far rejected two approaches.
Madrid have returned with a third, however, which has again been turned down unless Los Blancos throw in Euro 2016 winner Pepe, but Madrid don’t want to include any player in the deal.
Bayern have also tried to have Raphael Varane added to the arrangement and Madrid said no, the club having failed to convince Bayern to lower their asking price despite a long-running interest in the Austria international.
