‘Anti-Barca clause’ for Jese

Jese’s move from Real Madrid to Paris Saint-Germain will include a clause that prevents the Ligue 1 club selling the forward to Barcelona.

AS reports the stipulation in the terms of the deal between the clubs, with the agreement expected to be confirmed shortly.

Indeed, French publication L’Equipe believes the move is a certainty to go through, with the anti-Barca clause included, Zinedine Zidane having confirmed Jese is near the Santiago Bernabeu exit.

A fee of €25m has been mooted for Jese, though it’s not believed Madrid will be able to include a buy-back option as such clauses are not allowed under French regulations.

The sticking point is, AS noted, Madrid wanting to guarantee they could get Jese back if desired, preferring a loan move for that reason, while PSG are insistent on a permanent transfer.

Madrid are concerned by a possible FIFA transfer embargo that would make it impossible to register Jese once he was re-signed, but if he was on loan, that wouldn’t be an issue.
