The President of Besiktas, Fikret Orman, has denied interest in Barcelona’s Arda Turan, citing the situation with Jose Sosa as the spark of the rumour.
Sosa has spoken of his desire to leave Besiktas due to the political situation in the country but Orman hopes to talk round the midfielder, briefly on the books of Atletico Madrid, Turan having been linked with the club earlier in the week.
“Arda is not on our agenda for signings. The rumour is related to the decision taken by Sosa, but we hope he changes his mind,” Sport quotes Orman as telling NTVSpor.
Sport does though note interest in Arda from Inter, Napoli and Monaco.
