The father of Leroy Sane has claimed that Real Madrid could still sign the Schalke attacker this summer.
Manchester City were thought to be the frontrunners for Sane due to their recent appointment of former Bayern Munich boss Pep Guardiola, but father Souleymane insists Madrid remain an option for his son.
"A deal hasn't been struck with anyone and both Madrid and Bayern Munich continue to present opportunities," he told Sky Sport Deutschland.
Schalke are reportedly holding out for €45m for the young Germany international, who has been on Los Blancos' radar since he appeared against them in the 2014-15 Champions League.
