Espanyol have completed the signing of Jose Manuel Jurado from Watford, an express request of Quique Sanchez Flores.
Jurado moved to Vicarage Road last summer to link up with Sanchez Flores and with the Coach now installed at Cornella-El Prat, a move said to be worth €2.5m has gone through.
AS notes Sanchez Flores asked specifically for Jurado, having worked with him not only at Watford but also Atletico Madrid, and he becomes Los Periquitos’ third summer signing, following goalkeeper Roberto Jimenez and forward Jose Antonio Reyes.
Victor Camarasa, the Levante midfielder, is expected to be Espanyol’s fourth signing in the coming days, AS adds.
