Official: PSG sign Krychowiak

Paris Saint-Germain have completed the signing of Poland midfielder Grzegorz Krychowiak from Sevilla for a reported €26m.

Krychowiak has put pen to paper on a five-year contract with PSG and joins Coach Unai Emery in making the move from Sevilla.

“I am very proud to return to France and defend the colours of a club as ambitious as Paris Saint-Germain,” he told the French giants’ official website.

“The opportunity to continue working with Unai Emery was obviously a major factor in my decision.

“I have joined Paris to live very strong emotions and with the ambition of winning as many trophies as possible.

“I am looking forward to this exciting next step in my career.”

The transfer marks a return to France for the 26-year-old, who played for Bordeaux and Reims before joining the Europa League holders in the summer of 2014.

Sevilla are expected to replace Krychowiak with Atletico Madrid’s Matias Kranevitter on a season-long loan.
