‘Ter Stegen, Bravo, Masche all stay’

Josep Maria Bartomeu insists Marc-Andre Ter Stegen, Claudio Bravo and Javier Mascherano will all stay at Barcelona.

Bartomeu conducted on Thursday held a Press conference in which he confirmed Neymar would sign a new contract and he also touched on the futures of goalkeepers Ter Stegen and Bravo and defender Mascherano.

“They’re both excellent goalkeepers. They won’t leave, they’ll continue next season and they’re perfect to go in goal. The headache is for the Coach,” AS quotes Bartomeu saying after it was suggested Ter Stegen would leave to play League football and Bravo was wanted at Manchester City.

“Mascherano [a Juventus target] will continue. For one thing, he has a contract. [Sporting director] Robert Fernandez has been in the United States [where Masche was representing Argentina in the Copa America] and Mascherano said he wants to continue. Leaving Barca is very difficult. Very difficult. Mascherano will continue with us.”
