Sevilla to beat Valencia to Kranevitter?

Valencia could approach Atletico Madrid for the loan of Matias Kranevitter after being stymied in other moves, but Sevilla may be in front.

AS cites Cadena Cope as saying the Argentine has come on to Los Che’s agenda after missing out on Amadou Diawara from Bologna and Malaga’s Ignacio Camacho, but they face competition from Galatasaray.

Kranevitter is expected to make a temporary departure from Vicente Calderon as he’s unlikely to play much in the new season, facing competition for his place from Tiago Mendes, Augusto Fernandez and Gabi.

Marca however say Kranevitter to Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan could be announced on Thursday as Los Rojiblancos want a replacement for Grzegorz Krychowiak, who is expected to follow Unai Emery to Paris Saint-Germain.

Sevilla would take Kranevitter on loan for the season without the option to make the move permanent and once he has signed in at Nervion, Krychowiak to PSG could be confirmed.
