Paris Saint-Germain President Nasser Al-Khelaifi has welcomed Unai Emery to the club after the ex-Sevilla Coach was confirmed in his new role.
Emery left Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan at the end of the season, succeeded by Jorge Sampaoli, and with Laurent Blanc’s departure settled he has been ratified by the Ligue 1 champions.
“I am very pleased Unai Emery is the new Coach of PSG. He will bring his experience, his passion, his strong management skills and human qualities. He is noted for getting the best out of his players,” Al-Khelaifi said in a statement on Emery’s website.
“I’m convinced our fans will appreciate his leadership and the bold style with which his team will play.”
