Real Madrid will reportedly offer Gareth Bale a contract to keep him at the club for the next seven years.
The Daily Mail claims Los Blancos are preparing to make the Wales international one of the highest paid players in the world on a contract that runs until 2023.
Bale, 26, has been at Santiago Bernabeu since the summer of 2013, though his status as the world’s most expensive player could be lost to Paul Pogba if he quits Juventus for the Spanish capital this summer.
But Bale remains valued at Madrid and he is in line for a contract to reflect as much, with Manchester United and Manchester City having hoped to prise the former Southampton and Tottenham Hotspur player away from La Liga.
