Sevilla are on the verge of signing winger Hatem Ben Arfa from Nice, according to L’Equipe.
The France international is understood to be close to agreeing a three-year deal at the Sanchez Pizjuan, despite the player also being the subject of reported interest from both Real Madrid and Barcelona.
Ben Arfa spent five years with Newcastle United, including a loan spell at Hull City, having started his career with Lyon before a €12m move to Marseille in 2008, and is out of contract at Nice.
The 29-year-old was in impressive form in Ligue 1 last term, netting 17 goals in 34 appearances, and a deal could be completed this week, while he has also featured 15 times for the national team.
