Negredo touted in Milan?

Alvaro Negredo’s agents are looking for a way out of Valencia for the striker and both Milan clubs have been considered.

AS cites Cadena SER as reporting Valencia sporting director Jesus Garcia Pitarch met with Negredo’s representatives from the Doyen group over the striker’s future, as Los Che can no longer afford his wages.

Negredo cost Valencia €30m when his loan from Manchester City was made permanent but he managed only five goals last season, and with Valencia not in Europe next year, they are having to trim the wage bill.

Milan aren’t in Europe either but Doyen have been in Italy to establish if there is interest, as Negredo could replace in-demand former Sevilla striker Carlos Bacca, it’s suggested.

It’s a similar situation for Inter as Doyen try to position Negredo as a possible replacement for Mauro Icardi, who is said to have attracted the attention of a number of clubs. An €8m fee is mooted for Negredo’s services.
