Morata ‘decides to leave Juventus’

Real Madrid will reportedly exercise their buy-back option on Juventus’ Alvaro Morata, and the striker is said to be keen to leave the Serie A champions.

Madrid can re-sign Morata for €30m and AS reports they will do so, and then look to sell the Spain international at a profit, though that plan could change depending on how the Champions League Final against Atletico Madrid goes.

But the likes of Paris Saint-Germain, Arsenal, Borussia Dortmund, Manchester City and Chelsea are said to be in the running for the 23-year-old.

PSG and Arsenal will reportedly double Morata’s €4.5m salary while Antonio Conte, who was the Juventus Coach who originally asked for Morata, is due to take over at Stamford Bridge after leading Italy at Euro 2016.

Morata is said to be unhappy at being behind Paulo Dybala and Mario Mandzukic in the Juve pecking order, playing fewer minutes than both, while Juve won’t be able to compete with the money on offer from elsewhere.

The forward’s agent was reportedly at Santiago Bernabeu on Monday but AS cites Cadena SER as saying Juanma Lopez was at the ground for issues not related to Morata’s future.
