Gracia ‘wants Malaga stay, but…’

Javi Gracia says his preference would be to remain with Malaga but admits he doesn’t fully know what the future holds.

Rubin Kazan have expressed interest in the Coach and he admitted during an event that the offer from Russia was genuine, and he’s aware of gossip linking him to other posts.

“I was told Sevilla thought of me when there were rumours about Unai Emery, and I’ve also heard the rumours of Real Betis and Espanyol. The Russia one is true too,” he confirmed, AS reports.

“I don’t know if I’m going to be gone in a few days, if I’m going to fulfil my contract, if someone is going to pay my clause [said to be €1.2m]. I don’t know.

“Right now I’m focused on planning for pre-season and it is my intention to continue with Malaga. I’m focused on my work. My intention is to stay.”
