Gracia seeking winning end

Javi Gracia wants Malaga to end the season on a high, starting with the penultimate game against Celta Vigo.

Gracia told a pre-match Press conference that though his side have nothing to play for, he wants to end in good form and warned of the danger carried by Celta.

“They’re a team who always do things well and they’re where they are on merit. In the first round of games we were able to beat them in good form with two set-pieces. We’ll try to exploit our strengths,” he said, AS reports.

“They have quick and skilful players. We’ll have to work very well in defence. I think about the game last year, a good game but we didn’t take our chances.

“We want to end our away games for the year as the season deserves. Winning away from home would be a brilliant way to finish. I’d like to win all the points at stake. We can reach 51 points and that would allow us to overcome last year’s record, improve on our goals, our position in the table and end the season as we deserve.”
