Line-ups: Madrid-City (0-0 agg.)

Cristiano Ronaldo is back in the Real Madrid XI for tonight’s Champions League semi-final second leg against Manchester City.

Ronaldo had missed Madrid’s last three games after he pulled up at the end of Los Blancos’ 3-0 win against Villarreal on April 20 with a hamstring strain, but he is back alongside Gareth Bale in a forward line that only lacks Karim Benzema, who remains sidelined with a knee injury.

Casemiro’s late absence also forced Zinedine Zidane into a midfield dilemma regarding Isco and James Rodriguez, and the Frenchman has opted for the former, with Toni Kroos also returning, as three other changes see Marcelo, Dani Carvajal and Pepe come in.

Former Madrid boss Manuel Pellegrini, meanwhile, has gone one better, making eight alterations to the City side that lost 4-2 to Southampton over the weekend.
