All or nothing, admits Esnaider

Juan Esnaider admits Getafe’s visit of Sporting Gijon this weekend is a case of all or nothing, despite their 2-0 win at Deportivo La Coruna.

Goals from Pedro Leon and Carlos Vigaray on Sunday made it two wins in three unbeaten for Getafe, who are now level on points with 17th-placed Sporting – their opponents in the penultimate round of the season.

“We’re very happy and satisfied, it’s impossible to deny it,” the Coach said after the game.

“I’m feeling very well and satisfied. Everything’s going well at the moment, but we must stay on this path because we’ve done many things well but not enough.

“For us, this game was vital as it was in San Sebastian and against Valencia.

“We’ve earned the right to keep fighting, and we have another challenge next Sunday. We’re doing things right.

“I can’t ask for more as a Coach. The players have given their all, but all we can do is win [against Sporting], not think of anything else and ignore other results.

“We have the beautiful opportunity of playing at our stadium and against a very direct team [Sporting], so we want to get it right.

“There’s nothing else we can do, other than beating Sporting.”
