Season over for injured Bravo?

Claudio Bravo’s season could be over after the Barcelona goalkeeper suffered a calf injury against Real Betis on Saturday.

Bravo pulled up towards the end of Barca’s 2-0 win at Betis, which prompted Marc-Andre ter Stegen to appear as a substitute, and the Catalans have now confirmed on their official website that the Chilean injured “the soleus in his left leg”.

However, the club did not disclose the extent of the custodian’s layoff, although they acknowledged his ailment was “subject to further developments”, while Marca reports “it would be quite difficult” for him to play against Espanyol next weekend.
