Jose Antonio Reyes will be unavailable for Sevilla’s Europa League game against Shakhtar Donetsk after an emergency appendix operation.
AS reports the veteran needed the procedure after going down with appendicitis and was operated on at Sacred Heart hospital on Tuesday.
Reyes will be able to resume training next week but that means he’ll miss the European semi-final and Sunday’s game at Cornella-El Prat against Espanyol.
As a result, Coach Unai Emery has named a squad for Shakhtar containing all his available players as Los Rojiblancos look for a third consecutive Europa League success.
