Morata coy on Juve future

Juventus striker Alvaro Morata admits “we’ll see” in regards to where he will be next season, amidst reports Real Madrid will buy the striker back and sell him on.

AS claims Madrid are “seriously considering” the option of repurchasing Morata for €30m, having sold him to Juve for €20m in the summer of 2014, and making a profit on the 23-year-old, while the Bianconeri may issue a statement of their intent with a €20m counter-offer.

“Do I like this shirt [referring to the Juve jersey]? For me, what I like is scoring goals,” he told the Italian media via the newspaper.

“I’m fighting for Juventus as they’re my team. Will I stay? We’ll see.”

His Roma rival Seydou Keita, formerly of Sevilla, Barcelona and Valencia, told Marca Plus on Sunday: “He has the quality to be a starter for Real Madrid.

“Morata has great quality and is showing it in every game.

“If you’re playing and doing well for Juventus, you also will at Real Madrid. Everyone’s watching what he’s doing.”
