Robben out of Atleti first leg

Bayern Munich will be without Arjen Robben for the first leg of their Champions League semi-final against Atletico Madrid on Tuesday.

Robben has been suffering from an abductor injury in his left leg of late, and the winger’s ailment remains such that he will miss Bayern’s next two games against Hertha Berlin and Atleti.

Jerome Boateng will neither be in the squad for the match against Hertha, but the defender has returned to training after a serious hamstring injury and is touch-and-go for the trip to the Vicente Calderon.

Bayern can secure a fourth straight Bundesliga title on Saturday, providing they beat the capital club and Borussia Dortmund lose to Stuttgart.
