Del Bosque: Madrid deserved Clasico

Spain Coach Vicente Del Bosque felt Real Madrid deserved victory in El Clasico and that Barcelona can’t consider the title retained yet.

Madrid came from behind with 10 men to win at Camp Nou and end Barca’s 39-game unbeaten run, helping Atletico Madrid cut the gap to the League leaders to six points, with Los Blancos a point further back.

“They were a fair winner. I thought they ended better than Barca in the last 20, 25 minutes,” former Madrid trainer Del Bosque said at a promotional event, AS reports.

“Madrid were better than Barca and the victory came. Barca though still have an advantage in the League.

“There are still seven games, 21 points is a lot to play for. Barca can’t be certain and have to know that Madrid and Atletico are behind and that any failure could jeopardise the title.”
