Aymeric Laporte stretchered off during France Under-21s’ game against Scotland but it’s not known if the Athletic Bilbao defender suffered serious injury.
AS reports Laporte was in tears as he left the field with an injury to his right leg, footage showing Laporte experiencing an awkward fall with his leg caught under his body.
There’s no medical update available, AS note, so it remains to be seen if the Athletic centre-back has suffered an injury or if he escaped from the incident unharmed.
