LIVEBLOG: Italy vs. Spain

Football Espana has full coverage as Spain face Italy in Udine in a pre-Euro 2016 friendly fixture.

Vicente Del Bosque has named Athletic Bilbao striker Aritz Aduriz in his squad after the 35-year scored 31 goals before Easter and Aduriz stands to win his second international cap, six years after his first.

Del Bosque may also take the chance to consider how La Roja would cope without Sergio Busquets, after the Barcelona midfielder left the squad with a broken finger.

The fixture is a rematch from 2014 when a Pedro Rodriguez goal gave Spain victory over the Azzurri at Vicente Calderon.

Spain were also victorious in 2013 when the nations met in the Confederations Cup, triumphing on penalties, and in the Final of Euro 2012.

Del Bosque’s side routed Italy 4-0 as they retained the European Championships and go to France this summer looking for a third consecutive success.
