Galca: Good point, bad performance

Espanyol Coach Constantin Galca admitted he was happier with the point against Granada than he was with the performance.

Granada went down to 10 men before the half-hour mark when David Barral was dismissed for a second yellow card but Los Periquitos struggled and fell behind to Ruben Rochina, only for a late Miguel Lopes own goal to deliver a point.

“When we were better and had superiority on the pitch, they scored and it was very difficult because they say bad and left little space,” Galca complained, AS reports.

“I’m happy with the point, for the dedication and effort, but not for the performance. We could have had more but we could have lost.

“Granada are very solid and they have good players who can decide the game.”
