Alvaro Pereira is free to debut for Getafe this weekend after his eight-game suspension was dismissed.
Uruguay international Pereira signed for El Geta in the winter transfer window but arrived with the sanction over his head following his part in a friendly brawl between parent club Estudiantes de la Plata and rivals Gimnasia.
But AS reports the Argentine Football Association [AFA] have waived the remaining time to be served by taking into account games Estudiantes played after the incident but before the ban was handed down.
