Busquets unhappy with Barca start

Sergio Busquets admitted Barcelona “didn’t start well at all” against Arsenal on Tuesday but praised his side for “reacting” after they eventually won 2-0.

Lionel Messi’s double gave the Catalans away advantage in their Champions League last-16 tie, but his first goal did not come until the 71st minute, and the midfielder was not impressed with his side’s performance in the first half.

“We didn't start well at all, but in the second half we were the better team,” he told UEFA.com after the game.

“It's a good result for these second leg. The team reacted after half-time.”

Busquets’ teammate Marc-Andre ter Stegen added: “It is a good result in a game against a team high in the Premier League.

“They played well, but when we had the opportunity to score we needed just one chance.

“The return will be hard and we must keep concentration really high. If we win that, then we can celebrate.”
