‘Celta have to attack continuously’

Eduardo Berizzo has told Celta Vigo to ‘attack continuously as we always do’ to try and overturn Sevilla’s Copa del Rey semi-final lead.

Sevilla have a 4-0 advantage from the first leg but their Coach, Unai Emery, has warned of Celta’s capacity to come from behind, and Berizzo doesn’t want his side leaving anything behind.

“The game has to be bold, decisive. We have to go out and attack continuously, as we always do, and the game will have moments that lead to more,” he told reporters, according to AS.

“I’m not going to speculate over the XI. We have to find the necessary space to attack with speed. The plan is to play courageously. We’re committed to the fans who drive us.

“I can’t promise anything because nothing in football is certain, but we will try and we will be on the attack as promised from day one.

“We have to be precise in finding the edge of the Sevilla area, play dangerous passes into the box, with movements wide and a lot of depth, and find positions to score.”
