As expected, Barcelona are significantly changed for tonight’s Copa del Rey semi-final second leg against Valencia at Mestalla.
Marc-Andre ter Stegen starts in goal for the Catalans, Marc Bartra partners Thomas Vermaelen in central defence and Aleix Vidal and Jeremy Mathieu move into the full-back positions.
In midfield, Sergi Samper is named alongside Ivan Rakitic and Sergi Roberto – the only two remnants from the 2-0 victory over Levante last weekend – while none of the ‘MSN’ feature up top.
Valencia, on the other hand, are surely playing for pride, given their 7-0 deficit, and field a number of youngsters, including Ruben Vezo, Ibrahim Diallo, Fran Villalba, Wilfried Zahibo and Santi Mina.
