Former Chelsea and Argentina striker Hernan Crespo has said he is ‘almost happy’ Gary Neville is struggling at Valencia.
Neville, who worked as a Sky Sports pundit as well as assisting England manager Roy Hodgson before taking over at Mestalla in December, has yet to win a League game and his side were hammered 7-0 by Barcelona in the Copa del Rey semi-final first leg.
“To watch a game on TV, that’s different from the bench,” the Guardian quotes Modena trainer Crespo as telling Fox Sports.
“I’m almost happy for Gary Neville’s troubles at Valencia. I remember he was too harsh as a TV pundit.”
