Manchester City boss in-elect Pep Guardiola insists he is entirely focused on Bayern Munich as “I’m like a woman, I can do several things at once.”
Man City confirmed on Monday that Guardiola would be replacing Manuel Pellegrini in the summer, but the 44-year-old made it clear the announcement would not affect his job at hand with the Bavarians.
“I’m like a woman, I can do several things at once,” he said at his first Press conference since.
“People can decide whether to believe me or the newspapers. [Sporting director Matthias] Sammer defended the club. I can defend myself.
“I know that a situation like this hasn’t happened before [at Bayern].
“Normally, Bayern dispense with a Coach on their own terms, but there’s still four months to go and we must continue working hard.
“Talk of [Man] City can happen in England, but not now.”
