Ronaldinho can’t imagine Neymar quitting Barcelona for Real Madrid as ‘he’s playing for the best team in the world.’
Former Barca forward Ronaldinho attended Mundo Deportivo’s annual gala on Monday night and was asked about both his compatriot and ex-teammate Lionel Messi.
“Messi is the best player of his time, as Pele, Diego Maradona and Ronaldo once were,” he said.
“Leo has already made history and Neymar is on the path to doing so. He wants to become the best. I think he will.
“He’s in the best team in the world, playing with the best in the world. I don’t think he’ll go to Madrid.
“I’m happy to see another Brazilian enjoying it at Barca as much as I did. I hope he stays here a long time, where he will grow a lot.
“I’m very happy to have played for Barca. We made history.”
