Real Betis have loaned Chelsea starlet Charly Musonda until the end of the season and are close to clinching a similar deal for Martin Montoya.
The Belgian starlet, 19, can play anywhere in the final third and goes straight into Los Verdiblancos’ squad for Saturday’s trip to relegation rivals Real Sociedad.
“I’m very happy to be here and very excited to begin [my career here],” he told Betis TV.
“I like to play good football, dribble and do my best for the team and the fans.
“I know a lot about Betis, this is a great club.
“I know Joaquin [Sanchez], he’s a great player and I’m very happy.
“I also know the Betis fans. They’re very passionate.”
Betis are also on the verge of concluding a loan for Montoya after his spell at Inter was cut short due to a lack of playing time.
The 24-year-old was spotted landing in Seville on Friday night, and his move is expected to go through before the transfer window shuts at 11:00 GMT on Monday.
