Sergio Busquets didn’t pick up a serious injury in Spain’s win over England but won’t play in Belgium on Tuesday as a precaution.
Sport notes the Barcelona midfielder asked to be withdrawn late in La Roja’s 2-0 victory against the Three Lions and there were fears of a hamstring injury.
But any injury is only minor and Busquets will remain with the national team for the rest of the international period, but won’t play in Brussels.
There was concern initially but Busquets is, barring any further developments, fit and available for Barca’s post-internationals Clasico trip to Real Madrid on November 21.
