Raul Jimenez reveals he’s had no contact from anyone at Atletico Madrid since leaving in the summer to join Benfica.
Atletico retain a portion of the Mexico international’s contract and Miguel Angel Gil Marin, Los Colchonero’s chief executive, said recently that Jimenez was still on the club’s radar.
“I don’t know what will happen in the future,” AS reports Jimenez telling Portuguese publication A Bola.
“I can only say I am very happy at Benfica and 100% focused on goals for the team and for me individually.
“It’s true Gil Marin said that, but nobody has talked to me and I feel very happy here.”
