Real Madrid midfielder James Rodriguez says he is “ready to give everything” after making a successful recovery from a thigh injury.
The Colombian is set to mark his comeback against Sevilla on Sunday after nearly two months out, and he could hardly contain his excitement in a warning shot to Los Blancos’ rivals.
The midfielder did not have minutes against PSG in the Champions League but it seems that against Sevilla at Pizjuan onto the pitch again after nearly two months apart by injury.
“I’ve felt good for 15 days and I’m ready to give everything,” he said after receiving GQ’s Best International Athlete of the Year award.
“I’m happy to play for both my club and country, and people have to understand that this something I have to do and can’t help.”
