Cristiano Ronaldo has suggested that his future lies away from Real Madrid, simply answering “why not” when posed the question.
The No 7 is contracted to Los Blancos until 2018, but that has not stopped the rumour mill from speculating his next move, and he appeared to give credence to the theory that he would not be ending his career at the Santiago Bernabeu.
“Leaving Madrid? Why not?” he told Kicker, as part of promotional work for his upcoming documentary film 'Ronaldo'.
“For now, I'm at Real Madrid, but you never know. You have to do what makes you happy, no-one knows what will happen tomorrow.”
