Tebas rejects Madrid KO complaint

LFP President Javier Tebas offered little sympathy to Real Madrid’s complaints regarding the scheduling of matches.

Tebas was speaking from Doha as the first La Liga coffee shop was opened, and he was asked for a response to Madrid complaints over the time of their game against Celta Vigo on Saturday, in light of their midweek trip to Paris Saint-Germain.

“The schedule was released 40 days ago and the first statement I heard regarding this was 24 hours before the match,” he argued, AS reports.

“Madrid must not look at the schedule, otherwise they would have seen it before. It’s going to happen to all the clubs, soon Valencia, or Barcelona. It happens to everyone, for better or worse.”
