Getafe have confirmed the appointment of former midfielder Ruben de la Red as Coach of the B team.
De la Red also turned out for Real Madrid and worked at Los Blancos after he was forced into retirement in 2010 by a heart problem.
The former Spain international, who was 25 at the time he ended his playing days, came through the youth set-up at Madrid and spent a year on loan at El Geta in 2007-08.
De la Red, 30, replaces Jose Luis Navarro on the bench of Getafe B, who are in Group 2 of the Segunda B division.
